Hand carved from red clay using the Japanese technique of Kurinuki and glazed in a glossy Soft blue/turquoise glaze which pools in the carved texture.
Kurinuki makes are heavier than pieces thrown on the wheel due to the nature of the technique. They have a real presence in your hands as you hold them which creates a grounding experience as you use them.
Perfect for green tea or a small coffee/espresso.
My maker’s mark is on the base.

Made using lead free, dinnerware safe glazes. Dishwasher safe but I recommend hand washing to ensure the longevity of handmade pottery.
